Snow White and the Huntsman [June 1, 2012]

Snow White and the Huntsman is an upcoming fantasy adventure film directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Evan Daugherty. The film is currently in production and is slated for release on June 1, 2012 in the United States. It is the first film in a planned trilogy.

In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar(r) winner Charlize Theron) out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White's beauty and power.

The breathtaking new vision of the legendary tale is from Joe Roth, the producer of Alice in Wonderland, producer Sam Mercer (The Sixth Sense) and acclaimed commercial director and state-of-the-art visualist Rupert Sanders.

I know so many people dislike/hate Kristen Stewart, but I'm not one of them. So I'm looking forward for this adaption of one of my favorites fairy-tales when I was a kid. I love fairy-tales retold, and this seems to be exceptionally out of normal! I love that Snow White actually fights for once instead of letting the Evil Queen hurt her and try to kill her every-time!

An extra is having the eye-candy Chris Hemsworth, who starred at Thor. He is so HOT!! And I love Charlize Theron, she is a very beautiful and talented woman, she will nail the Evil Queen and maybe I will end loving her and wanting her to kill Snow White off! Great cast! Even the Prince seems evil rather than charming!! I can't wait for this!

In a kingdom ruled by tyranny, the Evil Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) learns that that her stepdaughter, Snow White (Kristen Stewart), will surpass her as ruler of her kingdom & become the Fairest in the land. However, she is told by the Magic Mirror (Christopher Obi) that if she, Ravenna, consumes Snow White's heart then she will live forever, but Snow White is able to escape into the Dark Forest. To capture her the Queen recruits a Huntsman, Eric (Chris Hemsworth), to retrieve Snow White. However, the Huntsman takes pity on the young Maiden & instead of killing her brings her under his wing & with his help Snow White begins to learn the art of war. With the aid of Seven Dwarves & Prince William (Sam Claflin), who has been in love with Snow White for many years, start a rebellion to bring down Ravenna.

Aren't the new posters just amazing! Now, I can't wait to see this movie even more! But I'll have to wait till the summer of the next year, 2012.
