Mirror Mirror [March 16, 2012]

Mirror Mirror is an upcoming fantasy film based on ‘’Snow White’’ by the Brothers Grimm. It was directed by Tarsem Singh and stars Lily Collins, Julia Roberts, Armie Hammer, and Sean Bean. The film, which had previously been known as Untitled Snow White, was officially titled Mirror Mirror on November 4, 2011. The film will be released in US theaters on March 16, 2012.

A wicked enchantress (Roberts) schemes and scrambles for control of a spirited orphan's (Collins) throne and the attention of a charming prince (Hammer). When Snow White's beauty wins the heart of the prince that she desperately pursues, the Queen banishes her to the forest, where a ravening man-eating beast hungrily awaits. Rescued by a band of diminutive highway robbers, Snow White grows into an indomitable young woman determined to take back her realm from the treacherous Queen.

Julia Roberts as The Evil Queen - Roberts was the first to be cast, because very early on Tarsem Singh wanted an Evil Queen audiences could relate with. He stated that in the film, the queen is not evil, but rather insecure. He also revealed that the Queen's true ugliness could be revealed at the very end of the film.

Lily Collins as Snow White - Originally Saoirse Ronan (Thank God they didn't pick her, I wouldn't have watched it! I HATE that girl, I don't know why she's famous! She is not even pretty!) was considered for the role of Snow White but the age difference between her and Armie Hammer was too large (he was 24 and she was 16) Collins was eventually cast in the role.

Armie Hammer as Prince Andrew Alcott - Hammer was cast as the prince who is at first drawn towards the Queen and then towards Snow White. He beat out James McAvoy and Alex Pettyfer for the role.

& Nathan Lane as Brighton

The Grand ball...

After watching "The Blind Side" and "Abduction", I'm positively looking forward to watch more of Lily. She is very beautiful and very talented. I can't wait to see her in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones as well. 2012 seems to be a very busy year for good movies.

I think Julia Roberts will make a great evil queen, she hasn't been very nice lately and it starts to show on her face. As Armie, I don't know who he is so will have to see and judge later.

Omg!! I didn't expect this!! This seems funny! And Julia Roberts made me laugh! She is a funny evil queen!

Mirror Mirror came out yesterday in Amman. So today [Saturday, ‎March ‎17, ‎2012], I'm going to my favorite Cinema in Baraka Mall, to watch it. But because today is a weekend day and I have nothing to do now, I decided to hit an early show, the one on 3:30 and enjoy the movie. Usually I like to go to late shows after 9:15 because all the kids and teens go to early shows, but I can't help it! I'm so excited!!
